Just so you know….I AM NOT INTO YAOI OR SHOUNEN-AI! I prefer straight pairings and cannot tolerate slash in any anime that has no aim to be a shounen-ai/yaoi (I am looking at you Code Geass). LOL, what a way to begin OTP awards. “Cough” Now that that’s out, let us begin.

Having expressed my dislike for umm…(what did that show Scrubs call it again? Oh yeah!) guy love, you’re all probably wondering why the award for “Most Amusing Pairing” is handed out to these two bishounens. Well the answer is simple…Yuuri and Wolfram have been the only pair that kept me amused than any anime pair at all. I watch their interactions because it is funny.  I mean c’mon, a self-proclaimed straight guy with an easily-jealous-male-fiance-by-accident is just so creepy–it’s funny. At one point, I almost became a yaoi fan but I slapped myself back to reality. I don’t follow KKM though, I stopped midway in the first series as the show started going bland for me. Well, there you have it! Congratulations, Yuuri and Wolfram! You have just won a trip to Florida and lots of frilly gowns for Wolfram, lol. XD

There is a lonely place in everyone…

Well chapter 6 and 7 scanlations of this manga have been released. And it’s made me think a lot of things about myself.

Well to start with, this manga is about a girl named Sumino who is practically invisible in her class. No one even knows she’s part of the class, much less her name. But everything changes when two well-liked boys in her class starts noticing her and soon Sumino decides to become stronger as a person and to be someone who is truly part of the class.

OTP AWARDS!

Because I wanna do something fun and interesting, I’ve decided to explore OTPs (be it mine or yours) and tag them with a “Most…somethingsomething” award. Why? Basically, because I can.

Boku wa Kiss de Uso wo Tsuku (1 and 2)

Title basically means, “I lied with a kiss”.

Kitazono Meiko falls asleep in the library one day, only to be awakened by a kiss! She is unsure of who it was that kissed her, however, since there are multiple boys still in the library. Could it be the popular boy Shinoda-senpai? Or the super-cool Mikoshiba-senpai? The boy-next-door type Mogami? Or the cute underclassman Hachiya? Who could it be? They’re all possible candidates, but which one does Meiko like the best…?

If you ask me, a harem ending would be great..

This manga is by TOMA REI, one of my favorite mangakas to date. I mean I was immediately sold on her. Her art is very clean and beautiful, it’s not sketchy with lines and she doesn’t put a lot of things in one page. The characters also look great (especially the bishounens).

Thursdays with Macross

With only half a dozen episodes left, Macross Frontier proves to be a constant factor in mostly everyone’s watch list (myself included). Macross Frontier is LWL. Love. War. Lolis.

One of the biggest must-watch-reasons for Macross F is the love triangle. Everyone wants to know who will win Alto-hime’s heart. Will it be the Galaxy Fairy Sheryl Nome or Cinderella Ranka Lee?
